prompt attentive staff--very fast service-easiest check in & out.
It was actually our son and his 2 daughters who stayed at Club Quarters. What we liked best was the location, only one block from our apartment! Our son was pleased with the accomodations. The front desk was extremely helpful, especially Peter.
No negatives were mentioned by our son.
Rooms were clean, except for some minor mold around shower stall. Relatively quiet environment for a city hotel. This was our fourth visit to the Club Quarters, and we will use this hotel again for future trips into San Francisco. What we liked best was the fast check-in/check-out service (no waiting) and the courteous staff.
If anything? That's what I call a programmed question! I've been in very few hotels that I'd rate as perfect. However, having stated that, in the four times I've visited the Club Quarters, I have had absolutely no dislikes or complaints, which is why I keeping coming back. It's a good place to stay! My only dislike this time around was the mold around the shower basin. No big deal! I'm just one of those persons who insist on providing meticulous housekeeping procedures when I'm spending my dollars on a room.
Clean, functional, close to the Embarcadero - perhaps not luxury but perfect for a city stay. Staff were great and moved me to a higher floor above the street noise without prompting.
Nothing, occasional police siren and foghorn noises but that's just the location, and weren't loud enough to bother me.
It was extremely convenient to the office location for my business meetings, close to a great variety of restaurants (or room service if desired), and shopping at the Embarcaderos if desired. The availability of unlimited purified drinking water on each floor, coffee both in room and in the living room on 1st floor. Restful, convenient and reasonably priced all made for a great stay.
Sufficient everything. Almost no frills, simple but cosy room. Check in can be done with machine so it saves lots of time (but you do need your credit card).
It is not very near to BART station, and if you are arriving late, it is not very easy to find, nor very safe to walk. Streets around the hotel gets pretty empty and dark. Would be excellent if you intend to stay mainly in Financial District - but if not, I'd recommend some other hotel in Union Square area, it's easier to access, there's more people and shops around there.
Instant Internet access, the Business Center and the pub next door!
Internet couldn't be used on my smartphone (Android) - small annoyance but important these days!
I liked the amenities like the free bottles of water, the roof terrace, the computers with free internet downstairs, the friendliness of the staff
This was my second time in this hotel - I always book a suite with kitchenette to have breakfast and some diners in the room - rooms have decent size for San Francisco, the equipment is there and the service is absolutely perfect - any request is treated within 10 minutes. The lounge downstairs with free coffee and free internet in the room is very much appreciated - location is just perfect close to embarcadero, trams and metros. I would return there next time no problem
You need to ask for a room backyard otherwise you might have the noise from the street traffic
We were travelling with our 18 year old grandaughter and the first night we were in cramped quarters with a roller bed.The staff was very accomodating and we were given a suite at a modest additional cost for the next 2 nights. The common areas were nice with a crisp modern design. There was complimentary coffee and tea in room and in the lobby.Lobby also had several computers for guest use and wifi was available throuhout. The only true negative was that the bed in the suite was very uncomfortable. All rooms seem to have a small kitchenette. The hotel is centrally located in the business district close to Chinatown and public transportation.
Beds were uncomfortable.
The only thing we did not like was it seemed there had been smokers in the room at some earlier point prior to our arrival. We did not ask for a change of room because we arrived late and did not feel like changing rooms.
Nice however very small room for price
Great location for the San Francisco Marathon and half marathon. Very nice people.
The blanket on the bed was so slick that it kept falling off one side or the other.
Room and hotel was really clean and bed was good. Location is pretty good in commercial area, so you don`t see junkies and homeless people around. Go to visit in 11th floor sun deck. It is simple, but nice place to do data work. =)
Walls are little bit thin so you can here people from their rooms and corridor. Back side of the hotel is couple of restaurants so if your room is that side and lower levels you can here that noise, but it didn`t bother us.
Claustrophobic rooms where windows dont open. Very basic. Also, dont make the mistake to order pizza from their recommended delivery place (napoli pizza). Its the most disguisting pizza I ever tasted and with all "add on costs" for service and fees it ends up being a rip off.
